About the role
- Take ownership of automating specific real estate legal workflows, from initial concept to successful implementation.
- You’ll be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment made up of Legal, AI and Software Engineers, where your expertise helps shape product direction and impact across the world of real estate in the US.
- You’ll be deeply involved in building domain-specific knowledge bases and decision trees, translating real-world legal processes into scalable AI workflows.
- You’ll also contribute to the development of templates and automation blueprints for a variety of US real estate scenarios—such as due diligence for acquisitions, lease reviews, title and survey analysis, and beyond.
- From researching jurisdiction-specific nuances in US property law to helping design features that align with how attorneys actually work, your input will directly inform how our product serves legal professionals.
- Once you’re up and running, you’ll be expected to make meaningful contributions to our products’ success.
Requirements
- You’re a licensed US attorney with demonstrated experience in commercial real estate transactions, particularly involving acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and/or title and survey review.
- Ideally, you have 5+ years of post-qualification experience, but strong candidates with less experience will still be considered.
- You can break down real estate due diligence into structured, discrete tasks that can be clearly communicated to a machine or automated process.
- You’re highly tech-literate, comfortable with learning new tools, and have a curious mindset when it comes to exploring how technology can support legal work.
- You’re interested in AI, large language models, and how cutting-edge tools can be applied to the practice of real estate law.
- You may not have done this exact type of role before (very few have!), but you’re resourceful, analytical, and motivated to build a career in LegalTech.
- It would also be nice if you:
- Are familiar with LegalTech software within a law firm preferably working with or managing a team of people who interact with AI.
- Have dabbled with any programming, no-code tools, software integrations/plugins or complex SaaS tools for work or personal use hobbies.
