About the role
- Assist with the planning, master schedule, warehouse, inventory, transactions, finite scheduling, and distribution of GMP and research-grade production supplies and final products.
- Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of materials needs as designated by the Management for Cell Therapy and Biological Production Departments.
- Assist with the implementation and administration of an electronic enterprise resource planning and inventory management system.
- Coordinate with Procurement Associate to communicate purchasing opportunities and potential supply, cost impacts to the Executive Management Team.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Production Operations, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
- Three (3) years Supply Chain experience with an emphasis in one or more of the following areas: Materials planning and management, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, Logistics, Production Scheduling
- Experience working with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), Inventory Management, using an electronic ERP system (i.e., mid-market systems, such as Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics etc.).
