About the role
- Oversee loan transactions and monitor collection queues
- Carry out testing of the Odyssey system, for push to production, be the Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Carry out testing of new workflows and enhancements within the Odyssey system
- Prepare reports as requested, using excel and PowerBI
- Prepare month end reconciliations and journal entries for month end
- Prepare Bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes, make recommendations and implement changes
- Provide support to other departments in managing financing agreements and payments
- Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for the board
Requirements
- Degree in Business with Finance / Accounting
- 4+ years of experience working in Finance / Accounting
- Experience working with a premium financing portfolio preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, PowerBI, SharePoint and knowledgeable with program troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of large data records
- Motivated individual who is focus driven, eager to learn and is an independent starter
- Ability to learn and become an expert in key internal systems
- Must be a team player
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well across departments
