About the role

  • Execute a comprehensive sales strategy to the assigned regions to achieve revenue growth and market expansion goals.
  • Identify opportunities and new verticals for Optasia’s products and services, driving adoption across diverse markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including telcos, mobile wallet operators, partners and Financial Institutes/Banks.
  • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the successful pitching and delivery of solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform strategy and maintain Optasia’s competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports for the executive leadership team, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Work cross divisions to prepare all the needed documents as: Presentations, Business Cases, Service Descriptions, or any other document.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales and Business Development roles
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the financial technology or telecommunications sector.
  • Able to establish a strong network and relationships within the region’s banking, fintech, or telecommunications industries.
  • Fluency in French is a plus but not required
