About the role

  • Smash targets and build relationships in the industry
  • Work with the entire Growth team to set priorities and strategic direction for new business
  • Actively prospect and engage new brands using channels including cold calling, email, LinkedIn and networking events
  • Conduct discovery calls/demos with outbound and inbound leads
  • Champion users and partner with Marketing and Product to continuously improve the product
  • Collect and record feedback throughout the sales process and suggest improvements
  • Act as Opply spokesperson and exceed growth targets in line with business objectives
  • Identify product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
  • Attend industry events to network, build contacts and represent Opply

Requirements

  • ~2 years experience in Sales or Business Development ideally in a B2B role
  • Have consistently exceeded sales targets, and motivated by the close
  • Natural flair with customers, and ongoing over performance of targets
  • Experience or interest in the food/consumer goods industry with brands and suppliers preferred
  • Strong ownership mindset; determined, scrappy, creative problem-solver; empathetic team player
