About the role
- Be fully accountable for revenue, margin, customer and employee KPIs in The Netherlands.
- Manage forecasting and report weekly to the Commercial Director on volumes, progress by segment, and strategic outlook.
- Build, manage, and coach the local team
- Ensure a balanced team structure, aligned with our strategy and targets.
- Make your team successful and happy by aligning vision, strategy, and consistent results.
- Represent and cultivate relationships with the top 3–5% of the Dutch buyer market.
- Ensure the customer journey reflects our standards, smooth, responsive, and high-quality.
- Be seen as a go-to authority on the Dutch used car market, both internally and externally.
- Be the voice of Dutch customers and employees within SLT and HQ discussions.
- Own RfPs and similar strategic processes that involve or impact your market.
- Actively contribute to improving our commercial model across Europe by sharing insights and lessons.
Requirements
- 6 years of Proven experience in a Country Manager, General Manager, or senior commercial leadership role
- Experience in automotive, used car remarketing, or B2B marketplaces is mandatory
- Strong network and understanding of the Dutch car trading landscape.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Strong data orientation: can forecast, analyze, and course-correct using real numbers, not opinions.
- Growth mindset: sees change as opportunity, takes initiative, and leads by example.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability culture.
- Fully aligned with our principles of ownership, meritocracy, customer centricity, pragmatism, and constructive communication.
- Solid people management experience, including coaching managers and leading teams
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a changing environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
