💰 CA$40 - CA$45 per hour
About the role
- Provide vision, leadership, and oversight for CASE’s learning initiatives
- Ensure alignment with CASE’s mission, values, and strategic priorities
- Oversee the activities and outputs of the L&D staff team, contractors, and consultants
- Provide information and updates regarding L&D activities, outputs, outcomes, and financials to CASE leadership and other interest-holders
- Carry out planning and implementation of L&D activities in ways that uphold the values of CASE
- Oversee the planning, building / upgrading, and maintenance of the CASE website
- Actively engage as a contributing member of the CASE leadership team
- Engage in strategic planning for L&D and CASE to support achievement of board identified strategic goals
- Research and seek out new funding opportunities to support revenue diversification and growth of CASE through L&D activities
- Develop L&D project workplans in collaboration with other CASE staff
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ management or supervisory experience (with responsibility for staff and/or contractors)
- Minimum 3 years’ direct Learning & Development experience (curriculum design, training delivery, evaluation)
- Not-for-profit sector experience (employment, leadership, or project management in a mission-driven organization)
- Relevant education (Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a closely related field)
- Fluency in French and English (written and verbal)
- Three weeks of paid vacation per year, prorated
- $120 / month to support maintenance of a home office, phone and internet
- Comprehensive individual dental, extended health and LTD coverage after completion of 3 months' probation
- 4% RRSP matching after completion of 3 months' probation
