About the role
- Support strategy and regulatory engagement for OpenAI in the area of competition and antitrust.
- Advise on commercial partnerships and acquisitions from an antitrust perspective.
- Respond to RFIs and other inquiries from competition regulators.
- Collaborate with global policy and regulatory affairs to anticipate and navigate competition scrutiny in the area of AI.
- Advise business and other legal teams on compliance with antitrust laws.
Requirements
- 10+ years of legal experience in the area of antitrust.
- A mix of in-house and top-tier law firm experience.
- Experience working for a competition regulator is a plus.
- Expertise in regulatory review of mergers and acquisitions and associated filings.
- Experience leading strategy and responses to antitrust investigations at a technology company.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgment in highly technical and fast-moving environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to distill complexity into actionable, business-aligned guidance.
