About the role

  • You are responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the project management team
  • You ensure efficient resource planning, coordinate task allocation and set clear priorities across the project portfolio
  • You oversee cost center management and strategic budget control for project management
  • You ensure the quality of the team's deliverables and establish high project standards
  • You support sales activities with a focus on strategic upselling and identifying additional value-creation opportunities
  • You ensure clear communication at all levels, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and represent your team to management
  • You analyze and improve processes, tools and interfaces in the project context

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of leadership or management experience in IT project management, ideally in an agency environment
  • You bring extensive experience leading complex IT and transformation projects — from e-commerce platforms (Shopware, Shopify) and headless commerce architectures to CMS implementations (e.g. TYPO3)
  • You have solid expertise in project management methodologies, in particular PSM and PSPO frameworks
  • You think analytically and structurally and demonstrate strong communication and decision-making skills
  • You communicate fluently in German, both written and spoken
