About the role

  • Own and manage relationships with Major Grocery Customer- Woolworths
  • Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned with company objectives
  • Negotiate trading terms, promotional programs, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability
  • Deliver agreed sales targets, revenue growth, and margin objectives
  • Monitor account performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions where necessary
  • Manage trade spend effectively to ensure ROI and compliance with budgets
  • Leverage category insights and shopper data to influence range, space, and promotional decisions
  • Collaborate with marketing and category teams to deliver tailored activation plans
  • Work closely with supply chain, finance, and field sales teams to ensure flawless execution
  • Support field teams with account-specific strategies and promotional calendars
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
  • Maintain accurate records of agreements, forecasts, and performance metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years in FMCG account management, preferably within grocery or independent retail
  • Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering sales growth and managing complex accounts
  • Commercial acumen with experience in P&L management
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel nationally as required
