Auditor

• Perform all regular Front Office duties
• Serve and build relationships with guests – ask for their feedback and show them hospitality.
• Compile and enter data from Front Office Room Inspection forms.
• Ensure the proper appearance of the lobby and all public areas, including the breakfast area.
• Perform pre-Breakfast duties and responsibilities.
• Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day
• Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed
• Prepare guest bills for next-day checkouts and process reservation cards
• Facilitate the deposit of guests’ valuables in hotel safe
• Conduct the Night Audit in accordance with the Opal standards

Night Auditor

Engineer

• As a Chief Engineer, you’ll ensure all aspects of the hotel’s engineering are kept to the very best standards and in line with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
• From simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day.
• Carry out a preventive maintenance program to ensure the hotel is maintained and in service for guests (i.e., lighting, refrigeration, heating, air-conditioning, water treatment systems, pools, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs or make recommendations for repairs, of all mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, all building components and furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Prioritize and complete work orders from guests and hotel team members.
• Respond to and attend to guest repair requests.

Chief Engineer

• Ensure all aspects of the hotel’s engineering are kept to the very best standards
• Carry out a preventive maintenance program to ensure the hotel is maintained and in service for guests
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs or make recommendations for repairs of all mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems
• Maintain a clean and organized environment in the maintenance room
• Cleaning and maintenance of the parking lot and walkways
• Ensure the hotel meets/exceeds Opal and Brand quality standards for property condition
• Prioritize and complete work orders from guests and hotel team members
• Respond to and attend to guest repair requests once received
