Account Executive

• Hunt for New Business: You’ll lead the charge in prospecting and generating your own leads by using a mix of outreach tactics—cold calling, door knocking, networking, and attending trade shows (25% travel required).
• Sell Ooma’s Award-Winning Products: You will sell Ooma’s comprehensive suite of business products and solutions to small and mid-market companies, bringing them cutting-edge, cost-effective communication tools.

Operations

• Handle incoming billing cases across phone, chat, and email, ensuring accurate documentation and timely routing or resolution.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking clarity on tax increases, price changes, or variations in monthly charges.
• Provide real‑time support for urgent billing issues, payment questions, and account‑status concerns while maintaining a professional, service‑oriented approach.
• Process billing structure updates, including invoice consolidation, PO changes, and recurring invoice modifications.
• Review and audit customer accounts to explain charges, proration, historical billing, and invoice fluctuations (e.g., tax jurisdiction changes, updated pricing, usage‑based billing).
• Update billing contacts, invoice recipients, and account communication preferences.
• Assist customers with billing portal access, payment method guidance, and wire/ACH instructions.
• Respond to general billing inquiries, including balances, due dates, invoice copies, and usage‑based charges (e.g., international calling, cloud‑storage fees).
• Manage hardware‑related requests, including processing new device orders, coordinating returns, and updating account records.
• Utilize AI in a variety of ways day to day to create efficiencies, assist with analysis, as well as connect data sets to customer behaviors.

Billing Operations Specialist

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned VAR partners to drive consistent revenue growth through the channel
• Serve as the primary partner contact, ensuring a high level of engagement, responsiveness, and overall partner satisfaction
• Develop joint business plans with key partners to expand pipeline and increase adoption of Ooma solutions
• Enable partners through product training, sales support, and education on Ooma’s communications platform
• Identify new opportunities within partner customer bases and collaborate with partners to advance deals through the sales cycle
• Maintain regular pipeline reviews and strategic account discussions with partners
• Advocate for partner needs internally and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class partner experience
• Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and revenue forecasting
• Execute a disciplined sales process to consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
• Travel periodically to meet with partners and support partner-led sales initiatives and events

• Own and expand a portfolio of strategic partnerships, driving successful market launches, revenue growth, and long-term strategic value.
• Identify, pursue, and close new partnership opportunities that expand routes to market and complement Ooma’s technology portfolio.
• Lead partnerships end-to-end, including commercial terms, product integration, billing and ordering, co-marketing, and sales enablement.
• Navigate complex negotiations with mid-sized and large telecom providers (e.g., Verizon and similar carriers), with a strong understanding of telecom ecosystems and go-to-market models.
• Develop competitive insights to inform and refine partnership strategy.
• Define and communicate compelling joint value propositions that clearly articulate Ooma’s differentiation.
• Partner with Product teams to align partnerships with the product roadmap and identify technology-driven opportunities.
• Translate strategy into actionable plans and execute with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
• Continuously improve partnership processes and ways of working.
• Provide regular updates to cross-functional leaders, the VP of Strategic Partnerships, and executive stakeholders.

Strategic Partnerships Director

• Develop annual strategic account plans (reviewed quarterly) with clear sales and growth objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities based on marketing initiatives, product innovation, economic trends, and seasonality.
• Own and manage the full relationship with assigned key accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to retail partners.
• Lead business reviews, client meetings, and executive presentations.
• Forecast sales performance and provide regular reporting to the Head of Residential Sales.
• Manage marketing spend to maximize ROI and drive sell-through.
• Oversee product detail pages across e-commerce channels to ensure accuracy and strong performance.
• Partner with retailers to secure optimal shelf positioning and effective merchandising in brick-and-mortar locations.
• Represent Ooma at trade shows and industry events.
• Travel regularly to meet with key accounts and strengthen face-to-face partnerships.
