About the role
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Company’s financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Own key components of the monthly and annual close processes
- Maintain general ledger integrity
- Support compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Partner cross-functionally with Treasury, Operations, Client Services, and Commercial teams
- Support revenue recognition and expense reporting processes
- Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheet and income statement reconciliations monthly
- Support interim and annual external audits
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Lead multi-state unclaimed property and breakage accounting processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end/year-end close
- Experience supporting external audits
- Strong understanding of account reconciliations and variance analysis
- CPA designation (active or in progress) preferred
- Experience in multi-entity or global environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- ERP system experience required (Microsoft Business Central preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with large data sets and manual processes
- Exposure to automation tools or AI-enabled solutions is a plus
