About the role
- Own end-to-end design across UX, UI, research, workflows, and design systems.
- Design user-centered experiences for web and mobile products with a strong focus on accessibility, clarity, and usability.
- Produce high-quality design artifacts, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI.
- Conduct user interviews and usability testing to uncover needs, validate concepts, and improve workflows.
- Advocate for usability improvements and design consistency across the product.
- Translate workforce and product data into clean dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
- Suggest UX-based enhancements to existing features and help identify areas of friction.
- Create, maintain, and evolve scalable design systems, component libraries, and style guides.
- Build and manage a centralized visual asset library including icons, illustrations, and reusable components.
- Ensure consistent application of design standards across product, marketing, and customer-facing materials.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and hand off designs with clear documentation.
- Work closely with Product leadership to turn ideas into clear user stories and intuitive designs.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to design AppCues flows and in-app experiences.
- Support A/B testing efforts by designing test concepts and visual variants.
- Support Marketing with campaign graphics, social media assets, ads, and promotional materials.
- Produce print and physical assets, including conference materials and customer swag.
- Assist teams with HTML email templates, styling standards, and seasonal email signature updates.
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience in UX, product design, or interaction design.
- Strong fluency in core UX deliverables (wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes).
- Proven experience interviewing users and defining user needs.
- Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, workflow simplification, and measurable product impact.
- Ability to operate independently and manage the full design lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI-supported design tools such as Figma, Claude, Lovable, or similar.
- Experience designing SaaS products, with a strong preference for operational or workflow-heavy platforms.
- Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Experience assisting with AppCues design and flow configuration.
- Familiarity with A/B testing concepts for product or marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
