About the role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounting firms.
- Understand client needs and organizational culture to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their hiring needs and challenges.
- Provide market insights and advise clients on recruitment strategies and trends.
- Source and attract top talent through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Utilize advanced search techniques and tools to identify potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a talent pool of accounting professionals.
- Conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
- Schedule and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit with client organizations.
- Coordinate and manage the interview process between candidates and clients.
- Provide candidates with comprehensive information about the roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Prepare candidates for client interviews and provide feedback throughout the process.
- Negotiate salary and employment terms with candidates.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Prepare and present regular recruitment reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Work closely with the business development team to identify new client opportunities.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and expand your network.
- Continuously improve your knowledge of the accounting industry and recruitment best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on accounting or finance roles.
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in accounting firms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and industry-specific requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Experience working in or recruiting for the accounting industry.
- Certification in recruitment (e.g., AIRS, CIR, CDR, or similar).
- Strong network within the accounting and finance community.
