About the role

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with accounting firms.
  • Understand client needs and organizational culture to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their hiring needs and challenges.
  • Provide market insights and advise clients on recruitment strategies and trends.
  • Source and attract top talent through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Utilize advanced search techniques and tools to identify potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool of accounting professionals.
  • Conduct initial screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually.
  • Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit with client organizations.
  • Coordinate and manage the interview process between candidates and clients.
  • Provide candidates with comprehensive information about the roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Prepare candidates for client interviews and provide feedback throughout the process.
  • Negotiate salary and employment terms with candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Prepare and present regular recruitment reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Work closely with the business development team to identify new client opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and expand your network.
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of the accounting industry and recruitment best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on accounting or finance roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in accounting firms.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and industry-specific requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Experience working in or recruiting for the accounting industry.
  • Certification in recruitment (e.g., AIRS, CIR, CDR, or similar).
  • Strong network within the accounting and finance community.
