About the role
- Conduct in-depth legal research on U.S. federal and state laws, regulations, and policies related to renewable energy and solar industries.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting the company's operations.
- Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to identify potential risks, compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Provide summaries and recommendations to stakeholders regarding contract terms.
- Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including contracts, amendments, memoranda, and reports.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain and organize the company’s legal files and records.
- Assist the legal team with preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for internal or external use.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- A Paralegal Certificate/ law graduate is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a corporate or renewable energy environment.
- Proficient in legal research
