About the role

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple entities, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Handle multi-currency transactions and ensure proper accounting for foreign exchange differences.
  • Maintain compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations for each entity.
  • Oversee payroll processing for employees in various countries, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Ensure compliance with international payroll laws and regulations, including deductions, benefits, and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and resolve client billing inquiries.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks across all entities, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a tech multinational or accounting environment.
  • Proven experience managing accounting for multiple entities and currencies.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting standards like GAAP or IFRS and payroll software/tools.
