About the role
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Manage AP/AR processes, including billing, invoicing, and payment tracking.
- Perform periodic reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closings, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and track financial performance against projections.
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work efficiently using accounting platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, and similar tools.
- Coordinate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to address financial inquiries and reporting needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification is required. QuickBooks Certification or similar platform-specific certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting.
- Proven experience working with US-based companies.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and related compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software, including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
