About the role

  • You oversee the ONLY shops in your area and report to the Retail Manager.
  • This position requires a high degree of independence, responsibility, and flexibility.
  • Lead and develop your store managers.
  • Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, and Brand Management.
  • Responsible for all staff in your area.
  • Responsible for the optimal organization of your stores.
  • Implement company guidelines and ensure adherence to our routines.
  • Staff development, conducting trainings and coaching.
  • Ensure staffing plans are aligned with customer traffic.
  • Lead by example in service and customer focus.
  • Actively involved in sales on the shop floor.
  • Lead and conduct inventory counts.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities for your area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Area Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and an understanding of the importance of leading by example.
  • Completed vocational training in the textile/fashion sector.
  • Strong interest in fashion and good knowledge of the market.
  • Strong numerical/analytical skills.
  • Commercial/entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid driver's license (car) required.
