About the role
- Develop strategy for the Spine, Sports, & CMF Last Mile Activities and implement consistently across platforms.
- Ensure a complete, impactful Operating Model that delivers value and enables a customer-centric, performance-driven last-mile operations capability.
- Develop performance management processes that provide a coordinated view of service, asset efficiency, and cash optimization.
- Lead inventory and technology programs associated with traceability and digital improvements, collaborating with relevant functions.
- Cultivate positive relationships across Supply Chain and Commercial teams to translate customer needs into actionable strategies.
- Optimize cash management of inventory, minimizing E&O and SLOB.
- Improve field audit processes in collaboration with Field Sales Teams to improve accuracy, compliance, and reconciliation results.
- Partner with commercial teams to innovate business models and customer connectivity.
Requirements
- A minimum of eight years of significant work experience in a relevant field.
- Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills; ability to communicate across all organizational levels.
- Experience in the Medical Device industry with a solid understanding of relevant regulations.
- Experience in ERP/OTC system implementation and usage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality and financial principles and practices.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree required, preferably in life science, engineering, or physical science.
- An advanced degree in Planning, Business, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.
- APICS, Six Sigma, IBF, or Project Management certification preferred.
- Previous experience in developing performance metrics and improvement strategies.
- Background in leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with digital transformation in supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
