About the role
- Achieves assigned appointment and revenue targets
- Prospects and builds an organic pipeline within designated target accounts
- Nurtures relationships with targeted prospects through multiple communication channels, including social media and email
- Leads prospect follow-up efforts, schedules calls and meetings, and manages multiple business development engagements simultaneously
- Researches prospective accounts to identify targets for outbound activities
- Provides support for local marketing events and initiatives
- Participates in the strategic development and execution of territory and account plans
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is preferred
- 1-3 years of successful professional business experience is required
- Prior sales experience is beneficial but not required
- A financial or accounting background is considered a plus
- Experience with financial software is strongly desired but not required
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Possesses an outgoing and engaging personality
- Maintains credibility and professionalism in all interactions
- Is highly results-driven and goal-oriented
- Shows strong attention to detail
- Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Is comfortable interacting with C-level executives
- Remains flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment
