About the role

  • Develop, refine, and execute the crude oil commercial development strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and market conditions.
  • Partner with crude commercial teams on the evaluation and execution of large capital projects, ensuring alignment of assumptions, economics, and strategic fit.
  • Lead crude oil–related mergers and acquisitions, including opportunity identification, commercial evaluation, valuation support, due diligence, and transaction execution.
  • Oversee market and basin‑level analytics related to crude oil supply, demand, pricing, competitive dynamics, and infrastructure utilization.
  • Translate market insights and analytical outputs into actionable strategic recommendations for senior leadership and commercial teams.
  • Manage and develop commercial development analysts, providing leadership, direction, and accountability for analytical and strategic deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business or related field
  • 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy or commercial roles
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with robust financial modeling experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting executive‑level decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
