About the role

  • Senior leadership role responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution for Onebrief’s core application
  • Oversee and coordinate persona-based teams (Commander, Collaborator, Creator) and emerging front-end teams to ensure seamless user experiences and coherent workflows
  • Define and align product vision and strategy across application teams, setting cross-team priorities and roadmaps
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives, roadmap planning, and execution across application teams; identify and resolve cross-team dependencies
  • Ensure integration of application features with shared platform services (data models, UI libraries, real-time sync) and reuse of core components
  • Set high standards for UX, quality, reliability, and performance; use user research, analytics, and feedback loops to inform priorities and measure impact
  • Ensure Commander, Creator, and Collaborator teams deliver on their charters (brief outputs, authoring tools, feedback/tasking systems)
  • Champion the voice of the user and represent application-layer product strategy to executive leadership
  • Build partnerships with engineering, design, customer success, and go-to-market teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption
  • Lead and mentor application Product Managers; contribute to hiring, onboarding, and best practices for distributed, cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, including significant leadership of multiple product teams or large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience building or operating at-scale collaborative productivity platforms (e.g., Google Docs, Microsoft 365/Teams, Atlassian, Slack, Figma, Miro, Notion, Dropbox, Coda, Airtable, Smartsheet)
  • Prior experience in defense, government, or other regulated industries where trust, security, and reliability are paramount
  • Deep understanding of modern product development practices, including user-centered design and data-driven decision-making
  • Track record of strategic leadership: defining vision, setting priorities, and driving alignment across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated success shipping and scaling complex B2B/SaaS products
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate complex product and technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience working with platform teams and shared services, ensuring robust interfaces and minimizing duplication of effort
  • High degree of ownership, intellectual honesty, and a bias for action; thrives in ambiguity and drives clarity and results
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to work with sensitive or classified customer data
