About the role
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities with mid-to-large construction, manufacturing and distribution firms
- Educate clients on the benefits and mechanics of a variety of alternative risk transfer products
- Coordinate risk assessments and collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to evaluate captive feasibility
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CEO’s, CFOs, Risk Managers, Controllers)
- Partner with internal teams to deliver customized proposals, presentations, and financial models
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging captive structures
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales
- Experience on captive insurance or alternative risk transfer products preferred
- Strong understanding of construction and manufacturing industry risks and insurance needs
- Proven track record of consultative selling to mid-market and large enterprise clients
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field preferred
- CPCU, ARM, or ACI designations a plus
