Billing Specialist

• Lead and develop a high-performing revenue assurance team with a strong customer focus.
• Build and maintain deep end-to-end understanding of revenue processes, systems and controls.
• Establish automated revenue assurance controls using AI and automation to increase coverage.
• Implement, maintain and report on best-practice revenue assurance controls and indicators.
• Identify, investigate and resolve complex billing and revenue assurance issues.
• Recommend improvements to revenue processes, systems and controls across the business.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance and standardise assurance processes.
• Coach team members and finance stakeholders on revenue processes, systems and controls.
• Drive awareness of revenue assurance and its value across One NZ.
• Embed revenue assurance into product and system development lifecycles.
• Act as the revenue assurance sign-off for projects, challenging and escalating risk where needed.
• Support strong Commerce Commission compliance across billing and revenue risk activities.
