About the role
- Own and deliver product initiatives within assigned Identity Manager domains or feature areas.
- Contribute to the 6–12 month roadmap by refining initiatives into epics, features, and user stories.
- Supporting prioritisation decisions with data and customer insight.
- Work closely with Engineering to plan, scope, and deliver work aligned with development cadences.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and support release readiness activities.
- Validate delivered functionality to ensure it meets requirements and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with PMs, Engineering, UX, and Architecture during discovery and design.
- Gather and document requirements from customer and partner interactions, support cases and escalations, sales and professional services feedback.
- Translate complex identity requirements into clear, actionable product artifacts.
- Ensure requirements consider security and compliance, usability and scalability, on-prem and SaaS constraints.
- Act as the day-to-day product contact for assigned feature areas.
- Work closely with Engineering and Architecture, UX, and Documentation, support, sales, and professional services.
- Support internal communication by clearly articulating product decisions and priorities.
- Escalate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early with proposed options.
- Participate in customer calls, demos, and feedback sessions.
- Support customer escalations by providing product context and clarification.
- Develop a strong understanding of enterprise IAM use cases, especially around identity lifecycle management and integrations.
- Bring customer perspective into backlog refinement and delivery discussions.
- Build familiarity with Identity & Access Management concepts and terminology, competitive offerings and customer expectations.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in Product Management or a closely related role (e.g. business analyst, solutions engineer, technical consultant)
- Experience working on enterprise software products
- Exposure to Identity & Access Management concepts is strongly preferred
- Experience working in agile or iterative development environments
- Strong organisational and execution skills
- Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding system constraints
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, structured documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, customer-focused, and eager to learn
- Able to manage multiple priorities with guidance and support
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
