About the role
- Implement, improve, extend, and maintain the applications that Termly provides
- Collaborate on building high-quality web applications and services
- Drive projects from concept through release and ongoing optimization
- Contribute to the entire development process
- Benefit from mentorship by senior engineers
- On-call assignments are shared across the team; this role would share that responsibility, and would also be a tier 2 support for fires
- Work 4 hours of overlap with US Mountain Time business hours to collaborate with the US-based tech team
- Review and implement technical product requirements
- Solve and track problems through to resolution
- Software development
Requirements
- 2-10+ years of professional software development experience
- Work well with leaders, support folks, ops folks, and developers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working on remote teams
- Proficiency in refactoring and unit testing
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms
- Experience with one or more technologies in our tech stack: Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, React, Kubernetes cloud-based infrastructure
