About the role
- Manage, develop, and implement technology solutions and own the full technology stack for digital projects.
- Assign and oversee daily tasks of developer team to produce intuitive, scalable, and effective client experiences.
- Clear blockers, act as escalation point, and communicate status, progress and risks to project team.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff including performance reviews, training, and career development.
- Participate in proposal development, estimating and client presentations to help win new business.
- Meet with clients to assess digital technology challenges and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of website builds, systems integration, and application development.
- Continuously improve development processes to ensure quality, accessibility, and security standards.
- Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, and hire as needed.
- Play leadership role in sprint planning to ensure team objectives and commitments are clear.
- Work hands-on alongside project teams on implementation and quality assurance while expanding technical capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on development experience with digital content management systems, specifically Sitecore, and proficiency in one or more web programming languages (.Net, C#).
- 4 years managing others.
- 3-5 years of experience leading design and implementation of digital technology solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CSS, HTML5, JavaScript and front-end development frameworks in web, mobile and social media environments.
- Experience integrating with search platforms and analytics technologies such as Google, Adobe or Coveo.
- Demonstrated management and communication skills.
- Business development experience with scoping projects, estimating, and presenting technical solutions to prospective clients.
- Ability to gather and analyze business goals and translate them into technical strategy and roadmap.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Agency experience (bonus).
- Recent Sitecore and/or Microsoft certifications (bonus).
- Comfortable leading as a player/coach and managing developer resources.
