Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth for Lisk’s DeFi/CeFi ecosystem.
Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners, including: DeFi protocols, centralized exchanges (CEXes), market makers, on/off-ramp providers and professional liquidity providers.
Pitch Lisk to local fintechs, neobanks and other potential partners in target markets, present the value, opportunity to successfully drive commercial conversations to close deals.
Conduct thorough market research by analyzing onchain data and founder feedback to identify ecosystem needs, trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape, using insights to inform and refine business development strategies.
Optimize and grow the DeFi ecosystem on Lisk, with a focus on strategic founders building real-world solutions in our target markets.
Iterate on and execute on Lisk’s DeFi / liquidity strategy and goals.
Work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering teams to align DeFi/CeFi ecosystem growth efforts with overall objectives.
Partner with Lisk DAO and relevant partners to effectively design and manage incentive campaigns to increase Total Value Locked (TVL) on Lisk.
Monitor and report on performance, providing regular updates to leadership.
Requirements
Proven business development experience in financial services, fintech or web3, able to proactively drive results.
Strong data, math, statistical or onchain analytics background to support data-driven decision-making and analysis.
Sufficient control of Excel/spreadsheet applications.
Excellent writing skills for creating compelling proposals, pitches, and reports.
Ability to pitch financial investments with confidence and clarity.
Understanding of DeFi/CeFi and blockchain concepts.
Willingness and ability to travel and attend real-life events to make new/deepen existing connections to efficiently drive new business.
Working experience within the DeFi/CeFi space (extra credit).
Network of contacts in the crypto industry (extra credit).
Strong first-hand experience with DeFi, including DEXes, lending protocols, providing liquidity to pools (extra credit).
Knowledge of how DeFi/CeFi integrators work, including: CEXes, payment providers, market makers, on/off-ramp providers, onchain liquidity managers (extra credit).
