About the role
- Contribute to CoinTracker’s DeFi coverage to position CoinTracker as the crypto tax solution with best in class DeFi coverage
- Proactively identify top dapps and smart contracts users interact with and add support to automatically categorize transactions
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize improvements to enhance tax accuracy for DeFi scenarios
- Research and scope 5 new blockchain integrations (non-EVM) and pair with an engineer to ship these integrations
- Develop and ship 1 new EVM integration
- Achieve outcomes including 90% of DeFi transactions across supported blockchains correctly categorized
Requirements
- Ability to view complex onchain transactions on block explorers (Etherscan, Solscan) and translate them into a clear story
- Familiarity with EVM
- Familiarity with Solana or another smart contract compatible blockchain
- Problem-solving: use DeFi coverage tools and propose product improvements
- Data analytics: analyze onchain data with Dune and/or Flipside
- Familiarity with query languages (SQL, PostgreSQL, Dune SQL, etc.)
- Impact-oriented, mission-aligned, trustworthy, strong communication
