About the role
- Attain Partners: consulting firm serving education, nonprofit, healthcare, and state and local government, focused on strategy and technology.
- Seeking a strategic thinker and consultant with experience in ERP and Finance transformation to shape vision and guide transformation journeys (not an implementer role).
- Lead strategic engagements across enterprise transformation, IT modernization, and organizational design.
- Conduct ERP readiness assessments, develop roadmaps, and advise on ERP-related decisions.
- Collaborate with executives to define vision, evaluate options, and align technology investments with mission outcomes.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment through workshops, interviews, and executive briefings.
- Partner with delivery teams in ERP implementation, modernization, and analytics to ensure strategic coherence.
- Support methodology development, thought leadership, and internal capability building to grow the practice.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in management or technology consulting, with material client project experience in Finance business process analysis and ERP transformation (e.g., current state assessment, software selection, software implementation).
- Previous employment as a management or technology consultant at a recognized professional services organization.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Finance business processes, common challenges, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
- Ability to lead client engagements independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Knowledge of and material client project experience with Workday or Oracle Finance is strongly preferred.
- ERP certification in Workday or Oracle Finance is preferred.
- Experience working with mission-driven sectors such as higher education, nonprofit, and state and local is preferred.
- Experience supporting business development efforts such as proposal writing and sourcing new business for existing clients is preferred.
