About the role

  • Independently research and analyze finance discipline issues or assist senior staff on complex issues.
  • Ensure all processes are according to internal procedures, regulations, and internal controls concerning GL&Cost Accounting.
  • Undertake assignments with clear objectives requiring finance principles and techniques.
  • Prepare investigations into relevant issues and adequate declarations/statements.
  • Support identification of risks and propose solutions for risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate and prepare maintenance activities for General Ledger&Cost Accounting procedures.
  • Perform and supervise high accuracy of general ledger activities.
  • Discuss and align finance topics with internal stakeholders concerning daily business processes.

Requirements

  • Master Diploma: Finance.
  • Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years.
  • Very good knowledge about the oil & gas business and its requirements regarding general ledger and cost accounting specifics (cash & bank transactions processing, GL related postings, master data maintenance, internal orders, project settlement, etc).
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Basic project management skills, typically team member, ability to lead projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP transactions related to team activity and general department-level SAP knowledge.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Advanced understanding of related legislations/norms.
