About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Deal Management professionals
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational rigor
- Set clear performance expectations and support career development within the team
- Own the end-to-end deal management process across the AMER region
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, discounting frameworks, and approval workflows
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex, high-value, or non-standard deals
- Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue, and Operations teams to enable timely and accurate deal execution
- Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership on deal strategy, risk, and governance
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing models, margin analysis, and commercial risk assessment
- Balance deal competitiveness with profitability, compliance, and scalability
- Support the review of commercial terms and structures to ensure alignment with company standards
- Assist in navigating complex negotiations while mitigating financial and operational risk
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in deal management workflows
- Design and implement scalable processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and turnaround times
- Deliver clear, accurate reporting on deal metrics, approval cycle times, pipeline health, and trends
- Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in Deal Management, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Finance, or a related function
- Experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Strong understanding of enterprise deal structures, pricing models, discount governance, and approval workflows
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue teams
- Experience supporting complex, high-value SaaS or subscription-based deals
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess margin, risk, and commercial impact
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and deal approval or CPQ tools preferred
- A process-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and scale
