About the role
- We are Omnissa! Omnissa is the first AI-driven digital work platform, built to support flexible, secure, work-from anywhere experiences.
- Conduct technical accounting reviews for new product offerings and route-to-market programs, ensuring proper ASC 606 / US GAAP revenue recognition in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion RMCS).
- Prepare and maintain revenue accounting memos and documentation for complex transactions.
- Define, improve, and operationalize revenue accounting policies across teams and systems.
- Partner with FP&A, Sales Finance, Product, and Marketing to provide technical accounting insights that drive accurate revenue and SaaS metrics.
- Deliver training on revenue recognition rules and policies to Deal Desk, Legal, Sales, and Operations.
- Serve as subject matter expert on US GAAP revenue developments, assessing impact and ensuring compliance.
- Implement and monitor reviews of the revenue recognition process, addressing compliance actions.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support external audit requests related to revenue.
- Preferred background in a Big 4 accounting firm (consulting) or revenue accounting within a SaaS-based multinational company.
- Active ACA or CPA designation with relevant industry experience strongly preferred.
- Deep technical expertise in revenue accounting and ASC 606 application.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player able to partner effectively with FP&A, Sales, Pricing, and Information Systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus.
