About the role

  • Own sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing for full-time, part-time, and contract roles across SEO, content, marketing, and operations.
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, Clay, and other creative channels; write highly personalized outreach.
  • Set up and maintain ATS (Ashby), interview workflows, and recruiting tech stack; evaluate and roll out new tools.
  • Document and improve recruiting workflows, scorecards, and interview processes; set and report on KPIs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring plans, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Ensure thoughtful, timely communication and a positive candidate experience from outreach to offer.
  • Lead compensation conversations, generate offer letters, and coordinate onboarding logistics with hiring managers.
  • Support systems for payroll, payments, HR tooling, benefits, and other people-related infrastructure as the company grows.
  • Build and own the recruiting function and lay the foundation for a scalable talent engine.

Requirements

  • Built or heavily contributed to recruiting programs at a startup, early-stage company, or fast-growing team.
  • 2-4+ years of full-cycle recruiting or talent operations experience, including sourcing, screening, and closing.
  • Owned or customized an ATS (Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse) and can design workflows and interview plans from scratch.
  • Experience sourcing using LinkedIn, Clay, and other creative channels; ability to write highly personalized outreach.
  • Systems thinker who documents processes and seeks to improve, automate, or streamline workflows.
  • Experience partnering closely with hiring managers to define job requirements and hiring plans.
  • Data-driven: track recruiting metrics, communicate progress, and use data to improve outcomes.
  • Self-directed, operates with urgency, and owns outcomes end-to-end.
  • Empathetic and thoughtful; cares about candidate experience.
  • Not seeking big-company recruiters or staffing agency experience unless also worked in startups and built systems from scratch.
  • Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship (application asks).
  • Based in the US or willing to work US-EST hours (application asks).
