About the role

  • Lead the team to Identify and sign new clients within the Residential & Commercial sector
  • Coach, develop, and mentor the Sales team, both individually and as a team
  • Hire and onboard new Sales team members (in collaboration with the People team)
  • Lead the Sales team to maintain rigor in CRM hygiene and pipeline management
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Marketing to evolve our approach to Commercial segments, and to reshape Omnidian’s value proposition
  • Engage in rapid cross-team collaboration with Client Success, Product, Operations, and other Senior Leadership to develop expanded scopes that meet market demand
  • Build industry relationships to create awareness, loyalty and enthusiasm for Omnidian’s comprehensive Performance Assurance solutions in Australia
  • Provide revenue and growth forecasts, in partnership with Finance
  • Collaborate with the Australian leadership team, sharing insights, engaging in productive debate and discussion, and positively challenging ourselves and each other
  • Shape the future of the company through strategic quarterly and annual planning, being a conduit of the voice of the customer and the trends in the market to help influence our focus and investments
  • Be a champion and steward of the Omnidian core values and culture (within and beyond the Sales and GTM teams)
  • Develop relationships with our largest prospects and clients, engaging where appropriate with senior leaders in our partner companies
  • Collaborate with legal, operations and product teams to negotiate contracts

Requirements

  • An experienced leader within the Australian solar and/or storage industry
  • Senior background in Business Development, Sales or a related discipline
  • Experience leading Sales and Marketing teams
  • Proven experience growing and retaining portfolios of clients (B2B)
  • Strong capability in deal structuring, negotiation, and closing
  • Solutions based sales mindset with disciplined pipeline management
  • Experience with equipment manufacturers (i.e. OEMs) is highly regarded
