About the role

  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs/RIPDs) for ERP systems and financial products.
  • Manage privacy projects.
  • Draft and review documents to ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
  • Participate in meetings to collaborate on the development of legal solutions.
  • Deliver training on relevant privacy and data protection topics.
  • Conceive, design, and develop new technological solutions.
  • Conduct research on new technologies and data protection.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Maintain and evolve Omie's Privacy Program.
  • Create and update privacy policies and procedures.
  • Ensure robust data protection clauses at all levels.

Requirements

  • Law degree with active bar registration (OAB) and a minimum of 10 years of experience practicing as an attorney.
  • At least 5 years of experience as in-house/corporate counsel, with emphasis on data privacy and medium- to high-complexity contracts.
  • Practical experience with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
  • Product mindset.
