About the role
- Independently analyze, assess and comment on contracts for energy plant projects
- End-to-end contract management across the entire project lifecycle in collaboration with the project management team and relevant departments
- Develop project- and supplier-specific claim strategies in coordination with the Head of Contract Management and the company/project management
- Manage and operationally implement measures to pursue or defend against additional claims, as well as handle scope changes and construction disruptions
- Support schedule, cost and performance control
- Evaluate opportunities and risks based on the contract and project progress
- Assist in developing processes and further improving existing processes and strategies in claim management
- Act as the operational interface between technical departments, project teams and stakeholders and the Head of Contract Management
- Comply with and apply applicable standards and regulations for occupational safety and accident prevention, environmental protection and data privacy

Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in engineering, law, business administration or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience (approx. 2 years) in contract and claim management for major construction projects, ideally in infrastructure or renewable energy
- Strong knowledge of the underlying legal frameworks (e.g., BGB, VOB)
- Advanced contractual, commercial and technical knowledge
- Structured, reliable and analytical working style
- Proactive and communicative personality with a solution-oriented approach
- Fluent German language skills (business fluent)
- Driving license class B
- Willingness to travel (to project sites as required)
