About the role

  • Independent analysis, evaluation and commentary on contracts for high-voltage overhead line projects
  • End-to-end contract management across the full project lifecycle in collaboration with project management and the relevant specialist departments
  • Development of project- and supplier-specific claim strategies in coordination with the Head of Contract Management and company/project management
  • Management and operational implementation of measures to assert or defend supplementary claims, as well as handling changes in scope and construction process disruptions
  • Support in schedule, cost and performance control
  • Assessment of opportunities and risks based on contract analysis and project progress
  • Support in the development of processes and the further development of existing processes and strategies in claim management
  • Operational interface between specialist departments, project teams and stakeholders and the Head of Contract Management
  • Compliance with and application of applicable standards and regulations for occupational health and safety, accident prevention, environmental protection and data protection

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical, legal or business degree or a comparable qualification
  • Initial professional experience (approx. 2 years or more) in contract and claim management for large-scale construction projects, ideally in infrastructure or renewable energy
  • Strong knowledge of the underlying regulatory frameworks (VOB, HOAI, etc.)
  • Advanced contractual, commercial and technical knowledge
  • Structured, reliable and analytical way of working
  • Proactive and communicative personality with a solution-oriented approach
  • Business-fluent German language skills
  • Driving licence class B
  • Willingness to travel (to project sites as required)
