About the role
- As part of our team, you will make a significant contribution to the successful delivery of complex surveying projects and to the development of sustainable infrastructure.
- Your tasks include reconnaissance, staking out and 3D determination of control points as part of establishing horizontal and vertical control networks for large construction projects.
- You will provide surveying support for building and civil engineering projects — from setting out and as-built measurements to control surveys.
- As-built surveys to document cable and pipeline installations for utilities are also part of your responsibilities.
- Another focus area is route surveying for high- and medium-voltage overhead lines and pipeline construction projects, particularly in the field of transmission gas pipelines.
- In addition, you will be involved in surface mining surveying projects (e.g., sand and gravel quarries, gas storage caverns) — including setting out, as-built surveys, quantity calculations, hydrological 3D surveys, as well as deformation and settlement monitoring.
- Organizing your assignments and coordinating with clients and project owners are also part of your responsibilities.
Requirements
- Completed training as a Surveying Technician, Geomatics Specialist or a comparable qualification, e.g., as a Construction Technician.
- Career changers with technical interest and commitment are welcome.
- Experience with modern surveying equipment (electronic total stations, GNSS receivers, laser scanners — preferably Trimble or Leica) is desirable.
- Team spirit, reliability and willingness to perform occasional installation work within Germany.
- Independent, structured and responsible working style and enjoyment of fieldwork.
- Confident demeanor when interacting with clients and project owners.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and a Class B driving license complete your profile, as well as fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
