About the role

  • Responsibility for the economic success of the business unit with approximately 80 employees.
  • Proactive management of the unit with regard to market developments and current trends.
  • Technical direction and further development of the business unit.
  • Professional and disciplinary responsibility for your employees.
  • Monitoring and controlling the results of the project portfolio.
  • Acquisition of new, innovative projects and development of sustainable customer management and networks.
  • Responsibility for qualitative and quantitative workforce planning within the business unit.
  • Technical execution of orders within the business unit.
  • Implementation of equipment investments in accordance with executive management guidelines.
  • Monitoring of schedules, costs, capacities, work quality and results.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Utility/Grid Construction or a comparable professional background/academic qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in construction-related project business.
  • Solid technical and disciplinary leadership responsibility for multiple years.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and approach; team player; self-confident; service-oriented; resilient; decisive and strong communicator.
  • Proven track record of independently acquiring new clients and projects, negotiating proposals and driving them to completion.
  • Several years of cost-center and Profit & Loss responsibility in a productive project environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Fluent German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus.
