About the role
- Responsibility for the economic success of the business unit with approx. 80 employees.
- Managing the division with attention to market developments and current trends.
- Defining the technical direction and driving further development while considering a sustainable corporate strategy.
- Professional and disciplinary responsibility for staff.
- Monitoring and steering the results of the project portfolio.
- Acquiring new, innovative projects and building sustainable customer relationships.
- Responsibility for qualitative personnel planning within the business unit.
- Technical handling and execution of orders within the business unit.
- Overseeing deadlines, costs, capacities, work quality, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Utility/Network Construction, or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in construction-related project business.
- Several years of substantial professional and disciplinary leadership responsibility.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and approach; team player; confident; service-oriented; resilient; strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Proven experience independently acquiring new clients and projects and negotiating proposals.
- Several years of cost-center and Profit & Loss responsibility in active project operations.
- Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Fluent German (spoken and written); English skills are a plus.
