About the role
- Prepare camera and lighting gear for film shoots, disassemble and organize gear for storage.
- Operate B camera during film shoots.
- Organize media assets across internal server, Cloud based storage and external hard drives.
- Responsible for the safe transfer and storage of all footage.
- Ensure equipment is charged and properly stored before and after every shoot.
- Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, recorders and other production equipment.
- Other duties as required by Supervisor.
Requirements
- Familiarity with cameras, lighting, sound recording and ancillary production gear.
- Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of web-based apps and social media platforms including Vimeo, Zoom, Facebook and YouTube.
- Familiarity with Google Drive/Google Suite.
- Computer skills, including: Mac and Microsoft Windows applications.
- Experience creating, editing, and publishing online videos (preferred).
- Organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- Alignment with Omega's mission, goals and core values.
