About the role

  • Prepare camera and lighting gear for film shoots, disassemble and organize gear for storage.
  • Operate B camera during film shoots.
  • Organize media assets across internal server, Cloud based storage and external hard drives.
  • Responsible for the safe transfer and storage of all footage.
  • Ensure equipment is charged and properly stored before and after every shoot.
  • Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, recorders and other production equipment.
  • Other duties as required by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with cameras, lighting, sound recording and ancillary production gear.
  • Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of web-based apps and social media platforms including Vimeo, Zoom, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive/Google Suite.
  • Computer skills, including: Mac and Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Experience creating, editing, and publishing online videos (preferred).
  • Organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Alignment with Omega's mission, goals and core values.
