About the role

  • Establish and lead the enterprise strategy for Alternative Channels and Distributor Management, aligning long-range growth priorities with OLIPOP’s broader commercial and brand strategy.
  • Manage channel portfolio P&L, making high impact decisions on selling story, investment, tradeoffs, and resource allocation to drive top and bottom line results.
  • Lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans across customers and distributors, ensuring clear ownership, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes.
  • Shape and lead OLIPOP’s national and regional distributor strategy, strengthening partnerships with broadline and specialty distributors to unlock scalable distribution and execution.
  • Build and lead the Distributor Management function, establishing standards, operating rhythms, and governance that enable consistent performance as the business scales.
  • Serve as a senior connector across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain, influencing decisions that span multiple functions and carry enterprise level impact.
  • Navigate complex, ambiguous tradeoffs with strong judgment; balancing near-term execution with long-term growth and brand health.
  • Represent OLIPOP externally with customers, distributors, and partners, influencing outcomes in highly visible, high stakes settings.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing team, coaching leaders and setting a clear bar for accountability, ownership, and performance excellence.
  • Establish scalable sales frameworks and routines, bringing best in class selling discipline and consistency that enable teams to execute effectively and advance enterprise growth objectives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in (combined) Alternative Channels, C-store Foodservice, and Distributor Management within CPG organizations.
  • Proven track record of enterprise level P&L ownership, driving profitable growth across complex customer and distributor portfolios.
  • Experience building and scaling functions or capabilities, not just managing existing books of business.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and growth, leading with curiosity and a development mindset while flexing approach, priorities, and teams to meet the needs of a scaling business.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and external partners, navigating ambiguity and high stakes decisions with maturity and confidence.
  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical rigor, and comfort making decisions that have long-term business impact.
  • Leadership style that balances decisiveness, collaboration, and accountability in fast-growing environments.
  • Drives high impact negotiations with customers and distributors, balancing partnership and performance to deliver outcomes that strengthen relationships and advance enterprise priorities.
  • Operates effectively in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment using tools such as Teams, Slack, and Zoom.
