About the role
- Group accounting oversight
- Supervise, lead and ensure the reliability of the group's accounting
- Manage the head office accounting team (2 employees)
- Oversee the relationship with the accounting firm responsible for bookkeeping and tax filings
- Supervise monthly closes and validate accounting reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and deadlines
- Propose improvements to accounting processes
- Serve as the interface with financial institutions and statutory auditors
- Oversee year-end closing tasks
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts for all group entities
- Ensure payment processes and approve transfers (suppliers, clients, payroll)
- Optimize use of the Sage treasury management software
- Provide monthly cash reporting to the Finance Department and General Management
- Optimize available cash through appropriate investment solutions
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with banking partners
- Oversee management of tax obligations and ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor tax audits
- Maintain active tax monitoring
- Serve as the interface with the group's legal counsel
- Handle the corporate legal secretariat (general meetings, registers, renewal of governing bodies)
- Ensure proper administrative management of the group's companies
- Work with IT to configure and maintain financial tools (Yooz, Cegid, ManagerOne…)
- Finalize implementation of electronic invoicing across the group
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes (archiving, contracts, signing authorities…)
- Manage the group's insurance policies
- Propose recommendations on accounting policy, cash management and financing solutions for the group
Requirements
- Advanced degree in accounting/finance (DSCG, Master CCA, business school)
- Significant experience in accounting and treasury, ideally in a multi-entity environment
- Experience managing a team and overseeing external service providers
- Strong command of accounting and financial management tools
- Rigour, reliability and strong organisational skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to improve processes
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external partners
