About the role
- Support the mine planning team by providing guidance and mentorship
- Assist in creating design surfaces, schedules, and cost estimates for mine operations
- Responsible for proposal development and technical documentation
- Facilitate workshops and conduct risk assessments with stakeholders
- Build relationships with clients and engage in business development initiatives
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of mine planning principles
- Experience in operational or closure phases within mining
- Familiarity with regulatory and legislative frameworks
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with mine planning software (Hexagon MinePlan and/or Deswik, CAD)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel for workshops, client meetings, and site visits
