About the role
- Assisting staff Physical Therapists in accordance with the Ohio Physical Therapy Board laws and rules.
- Provides patient treatment and family instruction.
- Assists in discharge planning.
- Evaluates and treats patients after physician referral.
- Administers portions of the assessment assigned by the Physical Therapist.
- Documents evaluation performance and progress towards goals.
- Delegates assignments to Rehab Technicians.
- Educates others about Physical Therapy.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (Required)
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Driver's License if in a Home Care department - Department of Motor Vehicles
- Licensed in Field - State of Ohio
- PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant - American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
- New graduates with excellent references and/or one year rehabilitation Experience
