About the role

  • Own the FinTech P&L, full accountability for FinTech revenue, gross margin, pricing discipline, and net profit contribution
  • Translate strategy into measurable outcomes across adoption, ARPU uplift, retention, and margin accretion
  • Build robust forecasts, business cases, and ROI frameworks to guide investment decisions
  • Define and execute Ofload’s multi-year FinTech strategy across Insurance, FastPay, Fuel Products, and Embedded / Marketplace Finance
  • Prioritise what will drive the most commercial impact and scalability. Be willing to pivot or stop initiatives that aren’t delivering the expected returns.
  • Build, Launch and scale FinTech products with clear adoption and monetisation targets
  • Embed FinTech into core carrier journeys and operational moments, not as bolt-ons, but as default behaviours
  • Drive go-to-market execution in close partnership with Sales, Operations, Network, and Product
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with insurers, financial institutions, and FinTech providers
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and structure scalable, compliant commercial models
  • Design risk, compliance, and governance frameworks that enable speed and scale, not friction
  • Build the FinTech Operating Model, lead a lean, high-leverage team, scaling only where ROI is proven
  • Operate hands-on while setting clear operating cadence, accountability, and performance standards
  • Influence senior executives and cross-functional leaders to drive adoption and execution

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience across FinTech, financial services, payments, embedded finance, or product-led SaaS
  • Proven track record owning and scaling revenue-generating products with P&L accountability
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen across pricing, margins, forecasting, and business cases
  • Experience establishing and scaling regulated products and partnerships
  • Demonstrated success launching and monetising B2B or platform-based FinTech products
  • Ability to operate hands-on while setting strategy in high-growth, ambiguous environments
