About the role

  • Contribute to the architecture, design, and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions, supporting the autonomy of development teams
  • Collaborate on the development and improvement of tools for seamless CI/CD, facilitating quick iterations and releases
  • Engage with development teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and provide guidance on best practices
  • Participate in initiatives to explore and implement new tools or practices that improve team autonomy and efficiency
  • Play a role in identifying and resolving infrastructure-related issues, contributing knowledge to support teams when needed
  • Review and ensure that infrastructure and tools align with security and compliance standards
  • Seek feedback regularly to align solutions with the evolving needs of development teams
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing backend services, ensuring they meet our standards for security, reliability, and performance
  • Apply best practices in software development, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and code review processes to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Contribute to the selection and adoption of software development tools and frameworks that improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development to ensure our services remain competitive and cutting-edge.

Requirements

  • Experience in infrastructure automation, with a preference for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with IaC tools, with proficiency in at least one, preferably Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with related tools
  • Proficiency in server-side technologies, especially NodeJS, and experience developing and deploying scalable backend services
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like ECS or Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
  • A proactive mindset for automation, simplification, and process improvement in both infrastructure and software development contexts
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
