About the role

  • You identify relevant political and institutional stakeholders, maintain and expand our political network, and represent the company’s activities and interests to policymakers at the federal level as well as in the relevant associations and institutions
  • You are responsible for the full scope of association-related political work in the energy sector and monitor and analyze market developments
  • You participate in committees and working groups and, together with other market participants, help drive the objectives that advance Germany’s energy transition
  • You prepare relevant topics for internal and external corporate communications and continuously develop them
  • You are responsible for political-context events and stakeholder meetings from identification and planning through to execution

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in political science, economics, law, or a comparable field and have several years of professional experience since graduating
  • You have multiple years of professional experience in public/political affairs with a focus on energy market issues and possess solid knowledge of Germany’s political system and party landscape
  • You have an active network in the energy sector and in politics and independently expand it
  • You have excellent communication skills combined with a confident presence, diplomatic tact, and integrity
  • You are flexible and willing to travel
  • You have very good German and English language skills
  • You enjoy working in a team and have a “let’s get it done” mentality; project management is not foreign to you
